چکیده
A two-dimensional multi-phase lag model in the context of generalized thermoelasticity is established for an isotropic half-space medium. vector-matrix differential equation obtained from governing equations using normal mode analysis. The eigenvalue approach applied to obtain solutions. temperature-dependent displacements, stresses, strains are calculated numerically and represented graphically show accuracy solution under mechanical thermal loads.

Coupled Thermoelasticity in a Composite Half-Space
The problem of fully coupled thermoelasticity in a composite half-space is considered where the composite has variations in its physical properties in one direction only. The resulting one dimensional problem thus depends on the so called microscale of the composite. Homogenization of the fully coupled theory provides the leading order system of coupled equations (independent of the microscale)...

Coupled BE-FE Scheme for Three-Dimensional Dynamic Interaction of a Transversely Isotropic Half-Space with a Flexible Structure
The response of structures bonded to the surface of a transversely isotropic half-space (TIHS) under the effect of time-harmonic forces is investigated using a coupled FE-BE scheme. To achieve this end, a Finite Element program has been developed for frequency domain analysis of 3D structures, as the first step. The half-space underlying the structure is taken into consideration using a Boundar...
متن کاملRocking Rotation of a Rigid Disk Embedded in a Transversely Isotropic Half-Space
The asymmetric problem of rocking rotation of a circular rigid disk embedded in a finite depth of a transversely isotropic half-space is analytically addressed. The rigid disk is assumed to be in frictionless contact with the elastic half-space. By virtue of appropriate Green's functions, the mixed boundary value problem is written as a dual integral equation. Employing further mathematical tec...
